With over 200 songs in her music catalogue, Thania Sanz has composed, arranged and written an extensive songbook over the past years.  With more than 25 years’ experience in the music business as independent Female Music artist, Thania Sanz is one of the few Latin American Woman Songwriter in her generation in her style, dedicated to investigate and document the source of Latin Music and its different fusions and evolutions.  Thania’s initiation as a songwriter, departed since a very young age along with her guitar & vocals, a pencil and paper.  Her Songbook it’s an extensive array of music melodies, rhythms, and sounds. Original written compositions, inspired from her native Latin American roots, departing from, Latin Styles, Mambo, Bolero, Cha-Cha, Cumbia, Plena, Brazilian, Samba, Bossanova, Ballads, Pop and Soul merged with her robust academic formation in Jazz music enable the merge of a Tropical-Caribesque; Latin Jazz Style; grounded in Venezuelan Folklore, which can best categorized as part the World Music Chapter.
